The Fellowship is a 2nd impression, while the Two Towers and Return are 1st impressions. The books feature John Howe's Illustrations to the dustjackets. The dustjackets feature some of John Howe's most famous illustrations, with a Gold Band to the top and bottom with the runes in black. All dustjackets in Very Good Plus condition with minor rubbing to the gold bands, minor loss of color, a few small wrinkled areas to top gold band on the books along with a couple of spots to the rear boards.
