Features the light grey quarter leather binding, with gilded labyrinth design by Jeff Clements. "SET IN 11 POINT BARBOU LEADED I POINT WITH LIBRA FOR DISPLAY" "AND PRINTED BY W & J MACKAY LIMITED ON GUARD BRIDGE SILVER CITY PAPER" "BOUND BY W & J MACKAY LIMITED IN QUARTER BASIL WITH SCHOLOCO COLORETA CLOTH SIDES" "BLOCKED WITH A SPECIAL DESIGN BY JEFF CLEMENTS". A Near Fine set of this scarce printing. Features maps, redrawn by an unknown artist, as endpapers in all three books. No names, inscriptions, or any other writing in any of the books. No rubbing to the delicate leather spines or soiling to the light colored cloth bindings. A very beautiful set of the First Printing by the Folio Society of this classic of fantasy literature. The set is housed in the original publishers slipcase, showing a slight bit of rubbing to the edges, no bumped corners to the case. All are very clean and bright, with no foxing, and with no writing or signatures. Beautiful looking set of the 1st style and print of the binding by the Folio Society.
