This is recently quarter bound in black leather with marbled paper to the covers. The spine features title, author, date published in 6 compartments with gold stamped devices and 5 raised bands. Cream colored papers added for endpapers. The textblock is clean with top edge gilded, no names or writing, no evidence of foxing or offsetting noted. There are two color plates by Pauline Baynes, as well as being illustrated on almost every page with her wonderful line drawings. Compliments from Adrian Harrington sheet laid in.
