The Tolkien Bookshelf is almost the only fair and honest merchant that I have dealt with in my twenty plus years of purchasing 1st editions of Tolkien’s works. This is readily apparent on his website by his showing numerous photos of each book that he has for sale, as contrasted with the other bookdealers who you can find online who usually only show a few photos... when it arrived today, I was still overwhelmed by the quality of the book, its professional restored original dustjacket, and the beautiful custom-made Moroccan leather clamshell case with raised bands, gold lettering and designs, and marbled-paper interior. Needless to say, I will only be dealing with the Tolkien Bookshelf in the future.
